JUDGMENT OF MENSA BOISON J. The applicant by counsel moves for an order of certiorari to quash a decision dismissing the applicant from the employment of the respondents, the Ghana National Museum Board (to be referred to simply as the board). The said decision was contained in a letter dated 13 September 1978, of which a copy is exhibited as D. By his affidavit, the applicant was employed as a custodian superintendent by the board in June 1973, on terms and conditions as expressed in exhibit I, which is, as deposed in the respondents’ last affidavit, a true copy of the original letter of appointment. In 1975, the post of custodian superintendent was, on the unopposed affidavit to the applicant, upgraded from a category D post to C. Now it appears that some time in October 1976, a flagrant burglary occurred at the headquarters of the board in Accra, where the applicant was stationed. Some losses of museum pieces must have been sustained, but the burglars were never.....
