SUMMARY DECISION DATE: -/4/1996 CLAIM: Payment of salary arrears. SUMMARY OF COMPLAINT: Complainant stated that he was employed as a night watchman by respondent to a guide bungalow at Bolgatanga. In 1994 the respondent wound up operations at Bolgatanga FINDINGS: Investigations reveal Complainant was Casual worker who was on Temporary Engagement which is renewed after every three months. It is therefore a possibility that the contract was not renewed when it lapsed. A letter dated 8-3-99 from the Commission has not been replied till date by the complainant. DECISION: The Commission Ceases further investigation in the matter due to loss of interest. This is in accordance with S. 13 (1) (b) of Act 456.
