SUMMARY OF PETITION: The Complainant paid an amount of ¢ 2,000,000 in settlement of an accident claim to one Kwasi Donkor on behalf of the respondent. The respondents have failed to pay up the amount on the pretext that the company has been delisted and therefore the onus of payment lies on the NIC. CLAIM: Recovery of insurance claim of ¢2,000,000. RECOMMENDATION: Complainant is advised to pursue the matter in court. DECISION: Complaint dismissed in accordance with section 13(1) (a) of Act 456. .
