The Complainants were Purchasing Clerks of the respondent company. They stated in their letter dated 28th May, 1997 that they had been unjustifiably arrested and tried for misapproriation of funds. They were particularly hurt that the Court had remanded them in custody without being heard. The correspondence dated 24th December, 1999 exhibited the Court's Record of Proceedings in which they had been discharged by the Court of want of prosecution. In that light they prayed the Commission to do justice to their cause. The Commission is unable to appreciate whatever relief the Complainants are seeking at this stage. It would appear that they have in mind damages for Malicious Prosecution and False Imprisonment. If that is the case, the Commission is afraid that it cannot be of assistance. Those reliefs are in the form of Tort for which the Complainant can sue in Court if they are so minded.
