ISAAC DANSO AND CITIZENS OF TECHIMAN

DATE OF COMPLAINT: 15/10/96. CLAIM Restoration of law and order at Buoyem area. SUMMARY OF COMPLAINT: A concerned citizen resident in Kumasi wishes to alert the Commission of the plight of Buoyem citizens due to undue harassment from Techiman citizens. FINDINGS / OBSERVATION: The Brong Ahafo Regional Director was directed to investigate and submit a report to Headquarters. This report was duly communicated to the petitioner herein. DECISION / RECOMMENDATION: The Commission accordingly ceases further investigation into the matter in accordance with Section 13 (1) (b) of Act 456. "Where in the course of the investigation of any complaint it appears to the Commission - b) that having regard to all the circumstances of the case, any further investigation is unnecessary, it may refuse to investigate the matter further.
