The complainant prayed this Commission to assist him get reinstated into the Ghana Education Service (GES). The complainant stated that he had been on interdiction for 8 years. He stated also that he was interdicted together with his assistant, following an investigation into alleged embezzlement. He stated further that he was arrested by the police whilst investigations continued. He stated that he remained in both Tesano and Achimota Police Stations for a period of 12 months. He admitted that he misconducted himself and in the process acquired for himself 3 vehicles and a form. Further, he stated that his assistant with whom he was charged had been reinstated into the Ghana Education Service. The Respondent, the Ghana Education Service could provide no comments on the matter. The Commission was directed to the Achimota and Tesano Police Stations for comments.
