By his complaint dated 29th June 1996, Maxwell K. Agyaim claimed the sum of ¢100,000.00 compensation from the respondent company. The Complainant alleged that he had been wrongfully dismissed by the respondent. He said that the respondent Managing Director borrowed an amount of ¢100,000.00 (hundred thousand cedi’s) from him. This amount was his December 1995 salary when he demanded for the repayment of the money, the Managing Director in the person of Oscar H. Kreiger dismissed him. He thus asked for compensation for the wrongful dismissal in addition to the $100,000.00. On their part, the respondent in the person of Oscar Kreiger commented that there was not a single time the complainant earned ¢100,000.00 while working with them. That the allegation for the ¢100,000.00 was a frame-up to make a case. The respondent further said that, earlier on the complainant had confronted him in writing concerning his claim.
