CLAIM: The petitioner seeks the assistance of the Commission to recover a debt of ¢million. SUMMARY OF COMPLAINT: Petitioners states that respondent borrowed the sum of ¢million in August to be repaid in 2 weeks’ time. He has since failed to pay the money despite repeated demands. FINDINGS / OBSERVATIONS: This is a debt recovery case which is better handled by the regular courts. DECISION / LAW: The Commission exercises its discretion under Section 13 (1) (b) of Act 456 that having regard to all the circumstances of the case any further investigation is unnecessary.
