The complainant has lodged this complaint against the respondent for failing to provide her with a State Housing House type SH.8 as agreed between the parties. According to the complaint her dealings with the respondent dates as far back as 1975. The complainant stated that she applied for a Housing Loan from the First Ghana Building Society. The amount granted her was ¢11,340.00 and paid same to the respondent. The respondent according to the complainant failed to or perform their part of the agreement to give her a house for over 19 months. In May 1977 the complainant withdrew her application and asked for the refund of her money. The complainant explained that she was compelled to take that step because the interest payments on the principal sum at the bank was swelling to prohibitive heights which her resources could not meet or tolerate. Besides the projected cost of the price of the respondent's house kept increasing. In 1981 the complainant revived her application for a house....
