JAMES K. WUABU AND GHANA COMMERCIAL BANK

In his complaint filed on 1st March, 2000, the Complainant James K. Wuabu complained against the failure by the Respondent Bank, to furnish him with particulars of his unclaimed salaries transferred to the Bank of Ghana by them. According to the complainant he was stationed at the Amanokrom Presby Primary School as a teacher until his transfer to the TumuChinchang Catholic Primary School in the Upper West Region. He adds that even though he had been at post between 1st September, 1998 to 1999 he had not received his salaries. Subsequently he was transferred back to Amanokrom in the Eastern Region. The complainant says that in October, 1999, it was detected that he had a duplication of salary and was accordingly asked by the Manpower Division to proceed to his former station to have the money tranferred to Government Account and a statement of transfer given him.
