DATE RECEIVED: 18/3/19 CLAIM: Payment of balance of benefits SUMMARY OF COMPLAINT: Complainant appointment was terminated however when being paid his entitlements an amount of $387, 000.00 was withheld by respondent being the cost of repairs incurred by the respondent company in repairing an articulator truck. FINDINGS: Investigations revealed that Complaint caused an accident at Tema Panalpina, yard. He did not use the laid down procedure but personally authorised Panalpina to repair the truck and bill respondent Company. DECISION: The complainant breached Company procedure and the surcharge is therefore correct accordingly the complaint is dismissed for lack of merit.
