Date Received: 26th October, 1999 Claim: Right to shelter from parents Summary of Complaint: Complainant claims they are 6 children of the respondent a Legal Practitioner. They and their mother were thrown out of their house by Court Bailiffs who said they were executing a Court Order. Findings Complainant was invited for discussion. The interview revealed that complainant's mother claims she contributed to the purchase of the house. Complainant was therefore advised to seek legal Assistance either through F. I. D. A. or Legal Aid Board to establish their mother's claims as the issues involved were Technical. Till date nothing further has been heard from complainant. Decision: The Commission shall cease further investigation in this matter. This is in accordance with S.13 (1)(b) of Act 456 of the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice.
