Date Received: 12th March 1997 Claim: Repatriation Allowances. Summary: Complainant were retrenched in 1993 by the Produce Buying Company. Complainants allege they were not paid repatriation allowance to enable them go back to their home towns. Findings: In a reply respondents explained that the request should be make within 2 months of leaving employment. A copy of the letter was sent to complainants for their comments. In spite of reminder letters no comments have been received till date from the complainants. Decision: The Commission ceases further investigation due to lack of interest.
