DATE OF COMPLAINT: 1/6/99. SUMMARY OF COMPLAINT: The Complainant alleged that he was injured in the course of duty subsequently he was paid 4537,000.00 which he now realises is ¢2,345,107.00 short of what he is entitled to. CLAIM: Underpayment of compensation. FINDINGS / OBSERVATIONS: Solicitor for Complainant erroneously computed compensation using LI 1594 which has not come into force. Therefore the original computation still stands. DECISION / LAW: The Commission ceases further investigation in this matter in accordance with Section 13 (1)(b) of Act 456 which states that "Where in the course of the investigation of any complaint it appears to the Commission - (b) that having regard to all the circumstances of the case, any further investigation is unnecessary, it may refuse to investigate the matter further.
