DATE OF COMPLAINT: 20th June, 1997. CLAIM: Petitioner claims that her name has been excluded from the allocation list for stores of Makola Market. SUMMARY OF COMPLAINT: Petitioner alleges that she owned a store at the Old Makola Market which got burnt down. However when the allocation list was released her name was omitted from the list. FINDINGS / OBSERVATIONS: The respondents informed the Commission that since A.M.A were not in a position to identity and ascertain the number of Traders on the market before the fire outbreak, the executive leaders of the Trader's Association were responsible for compiling the allocation lists. Petitioner was duly informed but has refused to reply or react from August 1997 to date. DECISION / LAW: The Commission shall cease further investigation in the matter since the petitioner lacks interest.
