By his complaint dated, 3rd June 1999, Daniel Aborhey claimed the following from the Italumex Ltd, the respondents: 1. redeployment benefits 2. 2 months salary arrears 3. payment of social security contribution arrears. The complainant alleged that he was employed as a messenger/cleaner by the respondent on 1st November 1993. He remained in the respondent's employment until 15th April 1998, when he was suspended for two weeks and susbequently redeployed on 28th April 1998. The complainant further alleged that the respondents owe him two months salary arrears and had not also paid his social security contribution up to date. On their part the respondent commented that the complainant had been in their employment as alleged. He was laid off together with others during the energy crisis. He was later on recalled to work.
