This is a matter of the summary dismissal of the Complainant from the employment of the Respondent in November 1994. The Complainant states that the Respondent dismissed her without any hearing, without appeal and without the opportunity to cross examine witnesses and thus a breach of the rules of natural justice. The Respondent's position is that investigations were conducted into certain irregularities involving the Complainant and it was only after she was found to be deeply involved that she was dismissed. She was also offered a fair opportunity of commenting on the irregularities in a query. The matter was set for hearing and the parties adduced evidence before the Commission in the first instance. The Complainant did not make herself available after several invitations for a discussion.
