DATE OF COMPLAINT: 8/1/98. SUMMARY OF COMPLAINT: The Complainant stated that he was a driver with the respondents. However he was served with a summary dismissal letter whereas he believes he has not misconducted himself. RELIEF / CLAIM: Reinstatement or else benefits for wrongful dismissal. FINDINGS / OBSERVATIONS: Respondents in reply attached many warning letters issued to complainant before the dismissal. Reply served on complainant to react but up till date no response has been forth coming from the complainant. DECISION / LAW: The Commission ceases further investigation due to loss of interest. This is in accordance with Section 13 (1) (b) of Act 456 which states that "Where in the course of the investigation of any complaint it appears to the Commission - (b) that having regard to all the circumstances of the case, any further investigation is unnecessary, it may refuse to investigate the matter further.
