DATE RECEIVED: 6/7/ 1999. CLAIM: Publication of New lorry fares. SUMMARY OF COMPLAINT: Complainant stated that following announcement of increase in lorry fares Drivers resorted to indiscriminate increase thereby illegally collecting monies from passengers. FINDINGS: Investigation commenced However the Government came out with approved fares which were published for the information of general public. This fact was communicated to the complainant. DECISION: The Commission ceases further investigation in the matter. This is in accordance with S. 13 (1) (b) of Act 456.
