DATE OF COMPLAINT: 22-1-1997. NATURE: Payment of severance awards, and repatriation fee. SUMMARY OF COMPLAINT: Complaint stated that his appointment was terminated due to financial problem being faced by the respondent company. He therefore sought 20% of consolidated annual salary as repatriation fee in addition to other benefits from the company. OBSERVATION: In the course of investigation Complainant was invited for discussions at Head Office which he failed to honour in spite of reminders. DECISION: The Commission ceases further investigation due to lack of interest. LAW: S. 13 (1) (b) of Act 456.
