SUMMARY OF COMPLAINT: Complainant was interdicted by Respondent for misuse of official vehicle. Complainant alleged that Respondent had failed to continue with the prosecution of the charges leveled against Complainant, although Complainant received an interdiction. CLAIM: Reinstatement OBSERVATION: Respondent duly replied to Commission's request to respond to Complainant's allegation. Respondent submitted report of enquiry it conducted. Respondent notwithstanding numerous calls on him to reply thereto, failed to do so. RECOMMENDATION: That the Commission ceases further investigations due to Commission's perceived lack of interest. DECION/LAW: Complaint dismissed in accordance with Section 13(1)(b) of Act 456 which provides: Section 13(1) "Where in the course of the investigation of any complaint it appears to the Commission (b) that having regard to all the circumstances of the case, any further investigation is unnecessary, it may refuse to investigate the matter
