DATE OF PETITION: 18th May, 1998. CLAIM: Reduced amount of benefit. Payment to be upgraded. SUMMARY OF PETITION: Petitioner was an employee of the Meat Marketing Board, which was later divested. He was informed his benefits amount to $130,000.00 which he considers too low for the number of years served and his rank whilst in employment. OBSERVATION: Efforts were made at D.I.C. who referred us to the Liquidator, Issifu Ali & Co as the proper Respondents. Meanwhile, the Petitioner has failed to follow up the petition since 1999. DECISION: The Commission ceases investigation due to lost of interest further LAW: Section 13(1)(a) of Act 456.
