ORIGINAL DECISION In its decision No. CHRAJ/608/92/231 of 24th June, 1999, the Commission declared that it found useful the "Guidelines for Determining PDD Petitions" referenced OB/ADM/G/60/1 dated 20th September 1989 which was submitted to the Pensions Computation Unit of the Accountant General's Department by the erstwhile Office of the Ombudsman. Accordingly, the Commission ordered that: "the said guidelines should be used in computing the pension benefits of late Mr. Kosi for the surviving wife, the petitioner herein." GROUNDS FOR REVIEW In her letter of 24th July, 2000, the Complainant indicated that after numerous follow-ups to the Controller and Accountant-General's Department on the matter, she was informed that her late husband's entitlements would be based on his salary scale of 1971 when he died.
