The complainant in this case claimed that he worked as a machine operator for seven years for the Respondent. He lost two fingers in the course of his employment. On 10. April, 2000, his appointment with the Respondent Company was terminated without any explanation. The Complainant lodged a complaint with the Commission claiming compensation for the termination of his appointment and also a letter of testimony affirming that in spite of his physical disability, his performance as a worker was not affected. The Respondent, in comments on the allegations of the complainant, stated that it was true that the complainant was an employee and had been injured in the course of his employment. The Respondent however stated that this had nothing to do with the termination of the complainant's appointment.
