INTRODUCTION The Complainant petitioned this Commission against his dismissal from the Ghana Education Service (GES). Attached to his complaint were copies of 3 previous petitions to the Chairman and the Co-ordinator of the Office of Revenue Commissioners in 1987 and 1988. The Commission had earlier on in June, 2000 rendered a decision refusing to investigate the case on the ground that there had been too long a lapse of time between the submission of the petition. With evidence submitted later that he had been diligent, the Commission decided to relist his case for investigation. THE COMPLAINANT'S CASE The Complainant stated that he was the Senior Accountant in charge of the Ghana National College in Cape Coast. He stated that grants were collected from the Cape Coast Treasury and the headmaster of the school authorized the grants to be used for boarding and other expenses.
