In a complaint dated 3rd August 1998, the Complainant asked this Commission to investigate a case of unfair treatment meted out to him by the Respondent. He claimed that he had appeared before a disciplinary committee at Akatsi where he was a teacher. He had been accused of various charges which amounted to misconduct. He was then suspended for 2 years. He stated that the Committee was made up of his enemies and that he had not been given a fair hearing. The Complainant was contacted to furnish the Commission with his Teachers Registration Number to enable the Ghana Education Service do its investigations and produce its comments. In spite of a reminder to him, the complainant has not responded. There is also no evidence on record to show that he has ever followed up on his case. As a result the Commission exercises its discretion to cease investigation in accordance with Section 2(4) of Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (Complaint Procedure) Regulations, 1994 C...
