The Commission received a complainat dated 11th September, 2000 from the Complainant, Mr. Asiedu. In that complaint, he prayed this Commission to intervene in the disbursement of his deceased father's pension. He stated that he was the eldest child and co-administrator of the estate of the late Mr. J.K. Asiedu. He said that the pension had been disbursed to the widow without he as co-administrator being aware of it. He complained further that his father had nominated certain beneficiaries of that pension and that it therefore could not be governed by the Intestate Succession Law PNDCLIll as was the rest of his estate. He therefore wished the Commission to intervene in the matter to enable the bona fide beneficiaries to take in accordance with the nomination forms signed by the deceased and attested by 2 witnesses. Before the Commission could obtain comments from the Respondent on the matter the Complainant on 15th December 2000 wrote to withdraw the complaint. In the light of this...
