SUMMARY OF COMPLAINT: Complainant sought advice from the Commission on what action to take against a trespasser on her land since the Police Service and Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly had not been able to help her. CLAIM: Advice on what to do to recover land being developed by a trespasser. RECOMMENDATION: Complainant was advised to instruct a lawyer or seek assistance from Legal Aid Board to institute legal action to recover her land. DECISION/LAW: The Commission ceased investigations in accordance with Section 13(1)(a) of Act 456 which provides as follows: Section 13(1) "Where in the course of the investigation of any complaint it appears to the Commission - (a) that under the law or existing administrative practice there is adequate remedy for the complaint, whether or not the complainant has availed himself of it, it may refuse to investigate the matter further."
