GABRIEL QUAMPA AND GHANA POLICE SERVICE.

SUMMARY OF PETITION: The Complainant was a superintendent of police and alleges that despite the quality service he rendered to the police, he was prematurely retired from the service in 1983 at the age of 48 years. CLAIM: Payment of compensation for premature retirement. OBSERVATION: The retirement was effected over 18 years ago and the lapse of time would render effective investigations difficult. DECISION: Complaint dismissed in accordance with section 13(2)(a) of Act 456.
