INTRODUCTION In a complaint dated 15th January 2001, the Complainant asked this Commission to assist him in getting his corrected results from the Respondent. THE COMPLAINANT'S CASE The Complainant stated that he had completed a Higher National Diploma at Takoradi Polytechnic in September 1999. He stated also that due to a mistake in calculations by his Head of Department, he was awarded a Second Class (Lower) Degree instead of a Second Class (Upper) Degree. He stated further that although he had applied to the Principal of the Polytechnic for redress, there had been no response. THE RESPONDENT'S CASE The Respondent stated that after receipt of the Complainant's letter to the Principal, the matter was taken up with the National Board for Professional and Technician Examinations, the Awarding Body. The Respondent stated further that the error had been rectified and communicated to it since 15t November 2000 and that the Complainant was yet to contact it. FURTHER INVESTIGATIONS ...
