OPPONG DEPUTY COMMISSIONER (LEGAL/OPERATIONS) FOR COMMISSIONER DECISION INTRODUCTION In a complaint dated 8 October, 2000, the Complainant alleged he had vacated his post with the Respondent due to violation of his basic human rights. He therefore prayed the Commission's intervention in the matter. COMPLAINANT'S CASE The Complainant claimed that money was deducted from his salary after his response to a query dated 6 June, 2000 was deemed unsatisfactory. He alleged that he suspected that he was being penalized because a private transaction between himself and a senior manager of the Respondent Press had gone sour.
