Introduction The Complainant was a Senior Accountant with the Sunyani District Office of the Ghana Education Service. Following an audit inspection re conducted by the National Investigation Task Force in 1986, he was interdicted and has been on interdiction to date. In this petition, he has pleaded innocent and asked for reinstatement. The issue to determine is whether he was wrongfully interdicted. Complainant's Case The Complainant submitted that shortly before the audit inspection, he accidentally lost the keys to one of the safes in the strong room. The safe contained some T & T and Teachers salary vouchers, as well as other office documents. He accordingly reported the loss to the then District Assistant Director of Education. One of the two keys was later found by a citizen who handed it over to the Broadcasting Corporation which turned it over while the other remained lost thus making it impossible to open the safe.
