ORIGINAL DECISION The Commission pronounced in its decision dated 12th May, 1997 that the termination of the Complainant's appointment was improper and ordered as follows: 1. Payment of three (3) years and six months salary as compensation from 17th September, 1988. 2. Payment of all allowances personal to his post together with gratuity and other retiring benefits up to 1st June, 1996 (date of his scheduled retirement). 3. If the awards above are not paid within three months of the date of this decision, they should begin to attract interest at the current bank rate. GROUNDS FOR REVIEW Between 26th November, 1997 and 29th January, 2001, the Complainant had sent numerous correspondence to the Commission expressing his dissatisfaction with the award of three (3) years and six months salary as compensation from 17th September, 1988 and the refusal of the Respondents to pay same.
