ORIGINAL DECISION In the Commission's decision rendered on 29th February, 1996 the following orders were made after having pronounced the dismissal of the Complainant wrongful: 1. Immediate reinstatement with effect from the date of his dismissal. 2. Payment of 50% of his salary from the time of his dismissal up to the date of payment at the current salary level. GROUNDS FOR REVIEW In his letter No. TAD/MTS. 22/Vol.v/205 of 16th May, 1996, the Auditor-General reminded the Commission that: “in all cases of unfair dismissal and reinstatement other than those determined by your office, the affected person receives 100% of his salaries, benefits and other entitlements from the date of his dismissal to the date of his reinstatement." Again, in a letter No. PB-42210 of 16th August, 2000, the Head of the Civil Service informed the Commission thus: "The award of 50% of salary in the petitioner's case therefore does not support your conclusion of 'wrongful dismissal neither is it in c.....
