Introduction In a complaint dated 30th May, 2000, the Complainant sought the intervention in what he termed, "the professional misconduct of Tarkwa Rent Officer, A.S. Dombo". The Complainant's Case The Complainant stated that the Tarkwa Rent Officer, A.S. Dombo had misconducted himself to his detriment. He stated that Mr. Dombo had aided a recalcitrant squatter to bolt away with a sum of ¢495,000.00 in rent arrears. He also accused the said Mr. Dombo of embezzling ¢440,000.00 of the rent money. He further accused the Respondent of letting out 2 rooms in his house without his consent. He also asserted that the tenants in the rooms had been ordered to quit by a Tarkwa Tribunal, but had failed to do so. He blamed Mr. Dombo for the impasse. He stated that he had complained to the Western Regional Office of the Ministry of Works and Housing. However, he had received no help from that quarter.
