Introduction In a complaint dated 7th August, 2001, the Complainant invited this Commission to compel Korle Bu Teaching Hospital to issue a medical report on his condition. The Complainant's Case The Complainant stated that he was a former employee of Loyalty Industries which went bankrupt in 1995. He had since suffered an ailment which incapacitated him. He stated further that he applied for his SSNIT benefits but was asked to procure a medical report before same was released to him on the grounds of ill health. He however, said that the Respondent requested him to get a letter of introduction from his employers before any report could be released to him. All explanations that his employers made were no longer in existence, fell on deaf ears. Further investigations The Complainant was invited for a discussion to elicit further information.
