DATE OF PETITION: 8th January, 1998. CLAIM: Expulsion of son from Respondent's Church. SUMMARY OF PETITION: Petitioner stated that her son after joining Respondent's church was neglecting his studies at school. He also refused to listen to her pleas to leave the church so the Commission should assist. OBSERVATION: The parties were invited for mediation after submission of responses. Both parties failed to honour the invitations after reminders. DECISION: The Commission ceases further investigation due to loss of interest. LAW: Section 13(1)(b) of Act 456.
