By her petition dated 11th January, 1999 the Complainant complained against the hrespondent for abducting her baby son and telling her that it was dead. COMPLAINANT’S CASE The complainant alleges that in November 1995 she delivered a baby boy at Nyaho clinic. According to her a nurse who took care of her insisted on giving her a baby girl in exchange for her baby boy. When she refused the exchange the nurse said to her RELE that her son had died. The complainant believed that her son was still alive and wanted the Commission to assist her get her son back. RESPONDENT'S COMMENTS In their comments to the petition the respondent attached a copy of the complainant's medical report which said that the complainant was treated for a spontaneous abortion which occurred at twenty weeks of gestation.
