DATE COMPLAINT RECEIVED: 13th July, 2001 NATURE OF COMPLAINT: Suspension of salary. SUMMARY OF COMPLAINT: Complainant alleges that the Respondent unfairly withheld his May, 2001 salary. RELIEF SOUGHT: Payment of May, 2001 salary. OBSERVATION: It was observed that both Complainant and Respondent indulged in an illegal act. Moreover, Complainant has resigned without given the required notice to the Respondent. DECISION/LAW: Investigation be discontinued in accordance with Section 13(1)(b) of Act 456 which states as follows: Section 13(1) "Where in the course of the investigation of any complaint it appears to the Commission - (b) that having regard to all the circumstances of the case, any further investigation is unnecessary, it may refuse to investigate the matter further."
