REPUBLIC vs. EDWARD WIREDU; EX PARTE AMIDU

JUDGEMENT Ansah JA. This is an application brought under article 33 of the Constitution, 1992 alleging the contravention of the fundamental human rights and freedoms guaranteeing equality before the law, freedom from discrimination, right to fairness and fair hearing and administrative justice. The reliefs sought from this court as a result of the alleged contraventions are detailed in a statement filed in support of the above-mentioned application. For the sake of clarity and a proper appreciation of the essence of this application, I shall set them out in full here.
