INTRODUCTION The Complainant alleged unfair treatment on the ground that 1. When he was involved in a fatal accident while on his way home from work, Respondent failed to sponsor his treatment abroad as promised. 2. The was not promoted over a period of three (3) years as a result of which his pension was rendered meager. 3. The Respondent refused to give him an opportunity to purchase Respondent's vehicle. After exhaustive investigations the Commission found that 4. The accident was outside the scope of the Complainant's employ. Therefore any offer to him was purely on humanitarian grounds. 5. The Complainant was not promoted because there was an Officer in the position when he sought to be promoted. 6. The Complaint failed to follow laid down procedure by applying to purchase a boarded vehicle on retirement. The Complainant was accordingly dismissed.
