INTRODUCTION In a complaint dated 2nd July 1998, the Complainant prayed this Commission to assist him retrieve his personal property from the Respondent. THE COMPLAINANT'S CASE The Complainant, a foreign national, stated that he met and struck up a relationship with a Ghanaian lady. He stated that he moved to Ghana and acquired landed property. He also bought furniture and other household items with the aim of setting up home with the Respondent. He stated however, that unknown to him, the Respondent had changed all the title deeds into her own name. She had further seized all his personal effects. He stated that he was prepared to let her have the landed property. He however wanted his personal effects back as some were momentos of his past. The Commission invited the Complainant to provide the Respondent's address and a list of the items claimed and also more details of his claim.
