JUDGEMENT Plaintiff/Respondent (hereinafter referred to simply as Plaintiff), by a writ of summons specially endorsed with, and accompanied by a statement of claim, commenced an action against Defendant/Appellant (hereinafter referred to simply as Defendant). Respondent (then as Plaintiff) chose to proceed under Order 14 of the High Court (Civil Procedure) rule and consequently took the relevant steps. His statement of claim read as follows: "1. The Plaintiff is, and was, at all material times, a trader and lives at Darkuman, Accra, and Defendant is and was at all material times a priest and lives at Darkuman, Accra. 2. The Plaintiff states that on or about the 3rd of May 1998, the Defendant introduced one Kwabena Ofori to him as a Visa Contractor who had obtained a visa for her (Defendant’s) brother and which she showed the visa and the passport to the Plaintiff’s parent. 3.
