VICTORIA AGYIRI AND KOFI SESA
In the complaint received on 24th October 2000, the Complainant requested for assistance from the Commission in getting her husband, the Respondent to assist in maintaining their five children. According to the Complainant, she has been married to the Respondent for about ten (10) years. However, the Respondent who is the father of three children has failed in assisting her to maintain their five children. OBSERVATION The Complainant did not give her address and that of the Respondent. This has therefore hampered efforts in contacting the parties involved for our investigations. Furthermore, the Complainant has not followed up on the case since February 2002. DECISION The Commission ceases investigations in accordance with Section 2(4) of C.I. 7 which states that: "Where a complaint lodged with the Commission is not pursued for three months from the date it is lodged, the complaint shall lapse thereafter."
