In his complaint of 12th March 2002, received on the 14th of April 2002, the Complainant alleged that he was a staff of the Respondent, but was struck by a stroke and three years later he was boarded and declared unfit to continue working. The Complainant alleges that he was retired in 1998 and since then he has not heard anything from the Respondent, especially concerning compensation due him. The Complainant further alleged that he sent a complaint to the CHRAJ District Office at Volta Region but for over six months nothing was heard from them, hence his complaint to the Head Office for intervention. OBSERVATION The Complainant later wrote to the Commission that because of his ill health, he was requested by his employers to be medically examined by Hohoe Government Hospital. The Complainant stated that he was still drawing his salary till November 1997 when he was told by his employers that he cannot receive his salary anymore as he has been boarded.
