In a complaint dated 20th May, 2003 a complainant namely Sarah Djanie, petitioned the Commission to impress upon Respondent to be a responsible father. COMPLAINANT CASE: Complainant alleged that, she had two daughters with Respondent but Respondent had refused to care for the upbringing of the girls hence her petition to the Commission. The Commission decided during mediation that Respondent should pay up all the expenses already incurred by Complainant and the present one's through the Commission. OBSERVATIONS: The Commission observed later that Respondent has failed to act on the agreement reached by both parties. The Complainant was invited to update the Commission on the current status of the issue but she also failed to show-up. DECISION: The Commission decides the case be struck out as abandoned.
