In a Complaint received on the 5th of December 2003 the Complainant sought compensation from the Respondent for wrongfully dismissing him. The Complainant alleged that he was involved in a lorry accident while on patrol duties with the Respondent's official vehicle on the 28th December, 2003. The Respondent had since the 6th February 2003 wrongfully dismissed him for allegedly collaborating with the driver of the vehicle to conceal the truth about the cause of the accident. OBSERVATION The Commission declines to investigate this mater further as it does not involve human rights violation. Furthermore the Respondent in this matter is a private organization. The Complainant may seek redress at the Labour office or go to court.
