By his complaint of 24th June 2002, the Complainant prayed the Commission to intercede on his behalf to retrieve his salary arrears from the Respondent. The Complainant alleged that he is a professional teacher stationed at AMA '2' JSS at Nungua. However, he gained admission into the University of Ghana in August 2001, but he was unable to immediately inform the authorities due to some circumstances beyond his control. According to the Complainant, he received a letter from the Headmistress of the school that since he has been out of school for two weeks, the school will notified the higher authorities. The Complainant alleged further that when he went to sign for his salary arrears, he was told to write two letters requesting for the re-instat and payment of arrears of salary which he did but the Respondent had not shown their readiness and willingness to correct the anomaly to enable him access his salary arrears.
