INTRODUCTION In a Complaint to the Commission on 30th August 2000, the Complainant petitioned the Commission to impress upon the Respondent to rectify his pension records to enable him receive the proper pension due him. According to the complainant, he retired in 1998 from Electricity Corporation with the rank of Principal Meter Inspector. The Complainant further stated that the grade of Principal Meter Investigator in a Public Corporation is equivalent to a Chief Technical Officer in the Civil Service. The Complainant further stated that since retirement he has not been placed on the proper scale hence the short fall in the payment of his monthly salary. OBSERVATION The Commission observed that the Complainant had failed to respond to letters with reference numbers CHRAJ/699/2000/971 and CHRAJ/699/2000/1250 dated 18th August 2003 and 10th June 2004 requesting him to indicate the current position of the petition.
