INTRODUCTION In a complaint received on 21ST May 2004, the Complainant alleged that the current management of the Respondent had wrongfully dismissed him. According to the Complainant the Respondent under took a renovation exercised after which all the employees were asked to re-apply for reinstatement at their head office. Complainant further alleged that he was recommended by one Mr. Banor at the head office to be reinstated under the new management, which was headed by Mr. Robert Taylor. The Complainant also alleged that Mr. Amaniapong, the one who took over from Mr. Robert Taylor, on Monday 5th January 2004 instructed that they hand over all their working materials to their supervisor and thereby consider themselves dismissed. The Complainant therefore petitioned the Commission to seek redress for reasonable compensation from Respondent to cure his heart disease, which he developed due to the unexpected dismissal.
